Terms of Service
These terms apply to every booking made with AIX Grants Shipping & Logistics Company.
1. Scope of service
AIX Grants Shipping & Logistics Company arranges international carriage of vehicles, containers, and general cargo as a freight forwarder. Carriage itself is performed by contracted ocean, air, and road carriers.
2. Bookings and quotes
Quotes are valid for 14 days and assume the cargo details supplied by you are accurate. Incorrect weights, dimensions, or declared values may change the price or delay the shipment.
3. Transit times
Estimated delivery dates are good-faith estimates based on carrier schedules. Port congestion, weather, and customs inspection can move them, and estimates do not form a contractual delivery guarantee.
4. Insurance and liability
Shipments move with marine cargo insurance. Our liability is limited to the terms of that policy and the applicable carriage convention. Extended declared-value cover must be arranged at booking.
5. Duties, taxes, and clearance
Import duties, taxes, storage, and demurrage at destination are payable by the consignee unless expressly quoted as included.
6. Tracking information
Tracking pages reflect the most recent information supplied by our operations team and carriers. Tracking numbers are confidential; anyone holding your number can view that shipment's status.
7. Prohibited cargo
We do not carry weapons, narcotics, hazardous goods without prior written agreement, or any cargo prohibited by the origin, transit, or destination jurisdiction.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the booking office is registered, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
